The Leadership Question
Becoming the leader you want to be — from pressure to progress.
Everybody is a leader. And like everything else, leadership evolves, stagnates, or even devolves over time. So, the real question for leaders is whether they have clarity — about themselves and their surroundings. Leadership begins with the questions we’re willing to ask.
The answer is only important if you ask the right questions.
Turning Clarity into Action
Coaching is a way to bring that clarity. It is not mentoring, consulting, or therapy. Instead, it’s a dialogue in a safe space, where you can feel comfortable, unravel your thinking, notice patterns you hadn’t seen, and discover your own answers.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
— Lao Tzu
What is Coaching?
My definition of leadership is the impact it creates, and coaching is a way to realize that impact. Here’s a simple way to understand it. Anyone who wants to improve their fitness can go to the gym and use the equipment, but working with a personal trainer usually brings better results — not because they do the work for you, but because they help you design a plan, stay accountable, and keep going when it gets difficult. A coach does not do your workout. They help you find your own path to achieve your goals.
The Swanvesha Philosophy
Swanvesha is Sanskrit and has 2 words in it. Swa and Anvesha meaning self-enquiry. The core philosophy of coaching is that as an individual if you are looking to improve yourself or solve a problem that is bothering you, then It always starts with looking inward and asking the right questions of yourself. The clarity that will emerge from within will create an impact that will ripple beyond you, into your actions and presence. In a dynamic world full of uncertainties, you may not control everything happening around you. But you can always focus on how you think, act and show up.
How Coaching Works
Discovery
We clarify objectives, core strengths and hidden blocks through deep dialogue and tailored assessments. We clarify what success means to you—not my definition or anyone else’s but what do you want?
Design
With the key insights from the Discovery phase, we co-create actionable plans with SMART goals—Simple, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound—using strategies and frameworks tailored to the areas you want to strengthen.
Implementation
Most failures don’t happen in planning—they happen during implementation. This phase focuses on executing your action plan with coaching, staying accountable, reflecting on outcomes, and adjusting as needed to sustain success and avoid slipping back into old habits.
My commitment extends beyond our engagement. I’ll check in periodically to see how you’re growing and serve as a sounding board for anything you’d like to explore.
